Share your expertise at ASHHRA23!

The ASHHRA23 Annual Conference and Exposition provides trusted knowledge and critical education to healthcare human resources professionals dedicated to creating and maintaining healthier communities by advancing healthcare through HR excellence. The Call for Abstracts deadline has passed but submissions are still being accepted (see below). To submit proposals, review this page in its entirety prior to submitting. ASHHRA relies on volunteer speakers to help deliver a robust program to our attendees – we would like to thank all who are interested in sharing their expertise.

The submission deadline has passed, however, the submission form will remain open for additional submissions, particularly for topics related to non-acute healthcare, centralized HR functions, employee and labor relations, and regulatory compliance. Priority consideration will be given to those who submitted before the deadline.

PRO TIP: Abstract submissions must be completed in one working session. The form will not save where you left off. Download THIS PDF GUIDE to help you gather the information you need prior to submitting the online form.

  • Lecture: Classic session format for one to three presenters to cover content through a presentation with time for a brief Q&A at the end.
  • Panel: A panel of three to four experts or peers share their story or stories collectively through discussion with time for a brief Q&A at the end.
  • Workshop: This type of program focuses on hands-on learning, allowing for a deep dive of real world application that might include activities such as role-playing, interactive group projects, tool application, etc.
  • Roundtable: This format allows for the audience to fully interact with each other and the content, with the help of a facilitator. This might involve discussion, writing tasks, brainstorming and sharing of stories within a smaller group.
