Before You Travel
Confirm your registration and housing. Registration confirmation and hotel details are sent by email. Keeping these handy will make check-in smoother upon arrival.
Plan your arrival. Review your travel schedule and allow time to settle in before the conference begins. Arriving early can make it easier to navigate the convention center and surrounding area.
Pack with purpose. Business-casual attire is appropriate for most sessions. Comfortable shoes are strongly recommended, as you will spend significant time on your feet.

ASHHRA26 will take place at the Savannah Convention Center. Session rooms, registration, and the Exhibit Hall are all located within the facility.
The Savannah Convention Center is located on Hutchinson Island, directly across the Savannah River from the Historic District. Attendees can arrive by ferry, car, or ride‑share.

The Savannah Belles Ferry offers complimentary passenger service between downtown River Street and the Convention Center. Ferries operate frequently throughout the day and provide a scenic, efficient way to reach the venue. The Convention Center landing is located adjacent to the SCC.

Guests traveling by car or using ride‑share services should follow GPS directions to the Convention Center address. On‑site parking is available in both a surface lot and parking garage. Parking is cash‑free and uses a license‑plate‑based system for entry and exit.
Accessibility and Mobility Support
ASHHRA is committed to creating a welcoming and accessible experience for all attendees.
Mobility scooters and wheelchairs. The convention center does not offer scooter or wheelchair rentals. Attendees needing mobility assistance should arrange rentals in advance through a local provider, such as Savannah Mobility Scooters:

What to Wear
Business‑casual attire is appropriate throughout ASHHRA26. Layers are encouraged, as indoor temperatures may vary throughout the day.
Savannah is a historic city with brick sidewalks and cobblestone streets, particularly in the downtown area. Comfortable, supportive footwear is strongly recommended, as attendees should expect significant walking both inside the convention center and while exploring the city.

Attend with intention. Review the education schedule in advance and flag sessions that align with your professional goals.
Engage with peers. The Exhibit Hall, networking events, and informal conversations are valuable opportunities to exchange ideas and build lasting connections.
