The Brave of Heart Fund was established to provide monetary grants to the loved ones of frontline health care workers and volunteers who lose their lives because of COVID-19. The grants will  provide immediate financial support for common needs such as funeral costs, medical care, counseling, food, education,  mortgage payments and living expenses.

Together, New York Life and Cigna, through their foundations, created the Brave of Heart Fund at E4E Relief with the hope of raising more than $100 million to support frontline health care workers fighting COVID-19.

The Fund will honor the families of health care workers who go to hospitals and medical facilities every day, knowingly  working with COVID-19-positive patients and is a way to support these workers’ families and demonstrate our appreciation for their sacrifice during the pandemic.
