CHHR Renewal
How to renew your CHHR certification.
The renewal cycle for the Certified in Healthcare Human Resources (CHHR) credential is three years, with expiration on the last day of the month in which certification expires. Renewal may be achieved by completing 45 hours eligible professional development activities or retaking and passing the CHHR Examination. The issued CHHR certificate indicates the date certification was earned and expires.
Send completed applications to ASHHRA.EDU@ashhra.org. Process payment online via the ASHHRA store (product name “ASHHRA CHHR Renewal Fee”).
More detailed instructions can be found in the Renewal Application. Renewal is not complete until the renewal fee is paid.

How to Earn Credits
ASHHRA education is pre-approved for CHHR renewal credits. This includes programs in the On-Demand Education library and the ASHHRA annual conference.
