Call for Volunteers: Job Analysis Task Force

ASHHRA is seeking volunteers to serve on a Job Analysis Task Force. The deadline to apply is Friday, May 20.

The job analysis is a critical step in validating the competencies of HR professionals in the healthcare field. The data collected from the job analysis:

  • establishes and documents the competencies required for the healthcare human resources professional; and
  • identifies the job-relatedness of the tasks and competencies needed to perform the job competently.

Time Commitment

  • Two to three virtual meetings at two to three hours each.
  • Time for advance preparation or follow-up work after a meeting.

Task Force members will be selected to reflect the diversity of the profession (e.g., work setting, size of facility, geographic location, educational and experiential background, etc.).

Please note that all participants will be required to sign nondisclosure and conflict of interest statements. All participants will be eligible to receive continuing education credits for SHRM, HRCI and CHHR.
