Join us for a thought-provoking discussion featuring women in healthcare leadership. Our panel of experienced and successful women will share their personal journeys, lessons learned and insights to tackle the workforce challenges and opportunities of the future. The goal of this discussion is to inspire and empower women to advance in leadership roles and drive innovation and change in healthcare.

She combines her specialization with a passion for population health to help communities realize health equity, improve access to care and ultimately improve the health of her community.

As Chief Equity Officer of Intermountain Health, Capeles leads Intermountain’s efforts to expand health equity, diversity, and inclusion for caregivers and patients in communities throughout the organization’s seven-state footprint. Before joining Intermountain, she served as the System Director of Health Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion at Christus Health. She led the organization in receiving numerous national awards, designations, and recognition in the area of equity. In 2021, Capeles earned the career achievement award from the National Association of Latino Healthcare Executives. She also received the 2019 Tomorrow’s Leaders Award from the Catholic Healthcare Association

Dr. Tiffany Love, founder of the Love Leadership Foundation, is an award-winning keynote speaker and C-suite executive with more than 30 years of healthcare experience. She is a Fellow and former Regent of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE), an Adult and Gerontological Nurse Practitioner, as well as a certified Public Leader through the Harvard Kennedy School. She also serves as coordinator, nurse planner and guest faculty member for Harvard Medical School’s CME course, Career Advancement and Leadership Skills for Women in Healthcare and as an Advisory Council member for the Harvard Business Review. Additionally, Dr. Love is an Advisory Board Member for Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society’s Center for Excellence in Nursing Education and an advisor for their Nurse Leadership Academy for Practice. She is currently Associate Vice President and Chief Nursing Officer at the University of Vermont Health Network Porter Medical Center, after previously serving eight years in various roles at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.

Shalina Chatlani is a local investigations fellow with The New York Times for its inaugural class of fellows. Shalina is based out of Jackson, Mississippi and is investigating healthcare issues in the state for the year. Prior to that, Shalina was a healthcare reporter for The Gulf States Newsroom, a partnership between NPR and NPR stations in the Gulf South. Shalina also worked at local NPR stations in San Diego and Nashville, TN covering healthcare and science.
