Healthcare HR professionals are carrying an extraordinary load—and in Part 2 of this ASHHRA member-exclusive session, we’ll move from shared realities to practical application. Building on key themes surfaced in Part 1, this webinar will focus on the day-to-day stressors of healthcare HR work: relentless capacity demands, shifting priorities, and ongoing fatigue driven by constant demands and emotional strain. Attendees will examine how sustained burnout, competing expectations, and limited recovery time are impacting both individuals and teams—and explore practical approaches to address them.

With guidance from Dr. Lisa Herbert, FAAFP, PCC, participants will gain actionable insights and proven strategies to reduce burden, strengthen support systems, and sustain themselves and their teams.

Objectives

  1. Recognize key day-to-day stressors and capacity constraints impacting healthcare HR teams.
  2. Assess the impact of burnout and emotional strain on effectiveness, engagement, and retention.
  3. Implement practical strategies to reduce strain, including prioritization, workload boundaries, and support mechanisms.
